Membership Impact

As a member of the Hormel Historic Home, you help to expand the ways the Mansion serves the community and ensures the legacy of  this beloved landmark for generations to come.  Your support helps to offset the substantial costs of maintaining the mansion and gardens.  Memberships are vital to the preservation and future of the Hormel Historic Home.  By becoming an annual member, you join crucial group of caring citizens who believe in the cultural and social benefits of preserving the HHH.

​The Hormel Historic Home is an independent 501(c)3 non-profit organization and does not receive federal, state or local government funding; we are also, not owned, operated, or operationally funded by any corporation (such as Hormel Foods, Inc.), organization, historical society, city, or county. 


We are funded by: memberships, donations, tours, fundraisers, gift shop sales, venue rentals, and program-specific grants.   
Although our fiscal year runs September 1 to August 31, memberships are now on a rolling calendar basis.

Office and Tour Hours 
 Most* Tuesdays-Fridays 10am-4pm
*If you are traveling from a distance you're welcome to call us to check tour hour updates as our tour hours may change due to private event rentals, guided group tours, etc.  We do our best to update our social media, website calendar, Google business hours, and place a sign on the front door or porch if hours will differ.

​Special Event Hours Vary and are Customized Per Venue Rental
