Circle of Friends Camp

Circle of Friends Day Camp started in 2010 to offer an educational and fun experience for children on the Autism Spectrum. The camp serves kids entering 1st through 5th grades and is staffed by Special Education Professionals primarily from the Austin Public Schools and Mayo Clinic Health System Albert Lea/Austin. The camp is generously supported by the Hormel Foundation, the United Way of Mower County, corporate sponsors and community donations.
Directors Jenni Harves and Lynsey Petersen O'Donnell
Camp Dates: June 21-25, 2021
Circle of Friends Day Camp offers 5 days of programming for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The curriculum is developed around the interests of the registered campers to ensure a high level of participation.
Circle of Friends Day Camp is preparing to offer in person programming in 2021. Camp dates are June 21-25.
Full capacity is 25 participants. Because Covid-19 precautions may dictate that we reduce the capacity, participants will be accepted based on the date they register.
