Go online to Austin Community Education to register or call 507-460-1706 (local Austin number). We will ‘travel’ on a culinary journey to New Orleans where the cooking style incorporates elements from French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Native American and African cooking.
This class is presented by the Austin Convention & Visitors Bureau, Community Education and the HHH.

Presented by John Garry, Development Corporation of Austin. Learn about new jobs coming to Austin from the Hormel Institute and other employers and how they will impact our local economy.

Foodie Throwdown

$30 per person
Come see Austin’s best chefs and food enthusiasts present tasting portions to take you on a global tour of cuisine. The party will open with social hour at 6 p.m. Stations will be serving tasting portions and vying for your vote for “Best Dish” from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The winner will be announced at 9 p.m.
Only 200 tickets are available.
Contact the HHH at 507-433-4243 to purchase a ticket. Cash bar will be available all evening. Featuring food stations by Howie Crawford of Hormel Foods, Hy-Vee Chefs, Dr. Gareth Hataye of Innovision, Jane Arhart and Diane Sherman.
